FINAL
I choose to draw family portraits for my final project. I have been asked by countless extended family members and neighbors whom I barely know about drawing a portrait of them. Politely making an excuse for excessive homework or an upcoming test, I have always declined such requests. However, the ones who have never asked me to draw them, my family, are the ones whom I cherish most dearly. Therefore, these artworks are a tribute to my loving family. The first piece is a picture of me and my twin brother in Spectrum. I drew this picture because it captures a rare moment of my brother showing physical affection (which over the years has been replaced with physical fights). The second drawing is of a family selfie on Diwali, a tribute to my Indian heritage.
